Why FaceApp for PC?

How can downloading FaceApp for PC be beneficial for me?

You would be able to apply layouts, filters, add stickers, widgets and many more to your photos, much faster than you would on your smartphone (yeah they are smart, but they are slow and tedious to work with for repetitive tasks). So.. we have some good and bad news about your favorite photo editing software – FaceApp for PC.

The bad news:

FaceApp is not available for PC. It is intentionally developed as a kind of “selfie” application which, well… makes selfies with different kinds of effects and there was no need for it to be developed for PC. I can hardly imagine the developers imagining someone going in the mountain with their laptop and taking a selfie….

The good news:

You CAN run FaceApp for PC, but in order for you to be able to get FaceApp for PC, you need to use an Android emulator called Bluestacks.

Bluestacks lets you run any Android application on your PC. So you can also play your favourite games on your PC, use your favourite apps and so on.

What is Bluestacks and Why we need it?

What is Bluestacks?

Bluestacks is an Android emulator for your PC that will basicly let you run ANY Android application.

You need to install Bluestacks because there is no actual version of FaceApp for PC so you need to “emulate” it.

This video will show you a tutorial about how to install Retrica on your PC after you install Bluestacks you can use the same approach to install FaceApp and any other application.

Possible problems that may occur with Bluestacks are that many applications do not recognize it as a “cell phone” (not that it is), which makes it unable to install of them. I’ve had similar experiences before but not with too many applications. FaceApp runs just fine.

There may be problem altho when you are trying to use some of your hardware in addition to Bluestacks, like your microphone or camera. There may be some issues or you may not be able to use them at all since the software is still in beta test and we can’t expect everything to be perfect.

For those of you who already own a smartphone with Android OS Bluestacks offers something like synchronization and automatically installs all applications that you have on your smartphone so that you can use them on your PC. You can play your favourite games!

Disadvantage is that it requires significant amount of hardware resources and for those of you with very old computers (like 10 years old) it might not run properly.

Still even with that, the sacrifice is worth it, with Bluestacks you will have Android with you on your big a** display playing your favourite games or using your favourite apps!

Kanvas-Online-Photos-Gifs-100x100 Kanvas is a multi-functional application that lets you create slideshows, videos and gifs. With it’s variety of tools at your disposal you can create various collages, emoticons, textx, drawings and much more.

The application itself is a mixture of photo editor with its own social network. It allows you to edit your photos with a variety of options and a huge depth. It’s very similar to Instagram, it lets you apply filters and create much more complex gifs.

It is a Social Network

Kanvas is inovative since it’s not strictly an editor. Like we already mentioned it is also a social network and the users are able to submit their own filters creating a rich environment letting you to create creative and innovative content.

One of the cool features if this application is that it lets you search directly on Google, Flickr, Tumblr and Instagram for photos so that you can get hands on the most attractive and high quality images and get down to business.

QuickEdit lets you do miracles

Having additional options like being able to insert emoticons, text, frames and even sounds makes the application very interesting and attractive, giving you the ability to produce unique content!.

Kanvas comes with a belt of easy-to-use tools, many options to spark your creativity and the social networking, thus letting you submit all your photos anywhere you want. It is a great way to quickly compose an image to express your feelings and ideas.

SpeakingPhoto Editor

SpeakingPhoto-Online-for-PC-Free-Download-100x100 SpeakingPhoto is a great application available for both Android and iOS and it is quite interesting. It can take photos and record audio on top of them. The idea is to make the photo “talk”, instead of just being a static content.

The app is available only in Portuguese and brings back well known features. After taking the photo and the audio recording, the user can share the file through the various social networking sites and even send it in an email! You can also use old images stored in your gallery and add audio recordings on top of them.

A feature worth noting is that you can create sldieshows with your images. SpeakingPhoto can use up to 8 photos in a timeline creating a GIF-like photo. There is a preview feature that lets you see your final product before sharing it. If you don’t like it, you can go back and edit it.

The application is super easy to use and has a great potential. You can make the pictures “say” anything! Send romatinc messages, make a slideshow for your work or anything else. Use your imagination, the sky is the limit.

SpeakingPhoto had a great success in the United States and arrived in Brazil with great promises.

The audio recordings made by the app are with very high quality, another plus.

Unfortunately the app has no filters of any kind so you can’t really edit your photos. But you can use one of the other photo editors we mentioned in our other posts to edit the image and then add audio recording on top of it.

Camoji GIF Camera

Camoji-Online-for-PC-100x100 Camoji GIF Camera is a very cool application for anyone who wishes to create animated GIF image. The process is very simple and the app also lets you send messages to your friends and exchange the GIFs around the social networks.

What is uncommon about this application is that it lets you edit the text within the stickers. It can also automatically place the name of the city you are currently in and much more.

The end product does not contain watermarks of the application and like many other photo editing applications can be instantly shared on the popular social networks – Facebook, Instagram and more. InstaMark is as a highly attractive option for people who like photo editing programs.

FaceQ Animated Avatar

With FaceQ you can create interesting avatars to show off on the social networks. It creates “cartoonish” kind of avatars which enables you to express your imagination in any possible way you desire.

First thing you have to do is select what type of avatar you want to create – boy, girl or couples avatar. After you have chosen your type of avatar on the next configuration window you can modify the face shape, hair color, hair style, decorations and much more. You can also change the colors of everything making it easier to make the avatar look like you or your friend.

After you have completed assigning the correct face shape, hair color, hair style you are able to put on accessoaries like glasses, hats and more. After you have completed your cartoon avatar you can share it directly on most of the social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others.

If you want to view your avatar at a later time or edit it you can do that at the History section of the application.

AfterLight comes with a very clean and intuitive interface. Making it very easy and simple to use by anyone. Something to note is that the application has a huge diversity of filters, frames and other photo editing features.

As an additional feature, the app supports sharing your art with the social networks. The application is so complete and professional that it can replace PC editing software unless you are looking for some really high end editing. Simply flawless.

Adjusting the brightness, saturation, contrast and the other options transforms photos with defects into professional looking photos.

Something to note – it crashes from time to time and you may lose your unsaved work.

The software isn’t available in many languages but this is not something to worry about since it is very intuitive to work with. Another downside is that the application is not free but it is worth it’s money!

YouCam Makeup Photo Editor

YouCam-Makeup-Online-for-PC-100x100 Another excellent application YouCam Makeup available for both ANdroid and iOS with the single purpose of applying makeup on your face. You can put lipstick, eye shadow, blushings, eye liner, noting pieces, soften skin defects, remove wrinkles, thin nose and cheeks and more.

The applied makeup by the application is surprisingly beautiful and naturalistic. If you compare the before and after of the used image you will certainly be satisfied with the results. YouCam Makeup analyzes your face and applies the makeup in the desired way.

On the main screen you can chose between taking a picture with the YouCam camera or using a picture from the gallery of your device. Once you have a photo ready for manipulation you can find the editing tools at the bottom of the interface.

In the “Looks” section, pick a full makeup according to the event at which the photo was taken (Office, Party, Date, Rock Concert and other). Tap on the desired option and observe the magic. If you are satisfied with the end result just tap on the “V” button at the top of the screen, to remove the editing tap the “X” button.

In the “Skin” section you can make adjustments on your skin, such as changing the brightness intensity, repair defects and smooth the skin tone.

The “Face” section offers you well, face makeup of coruse – blush, fine tuning of the outlines of your face and nose and more.

The “Eye” section lets you apply shadow, mascara and eyeliner, in addition it lets you remove the dark circles beneath the eyes and increase the size of your eyes.

The “Mouth” lets you put on lipstick with various colors.
